Maybe in the history, namely a life-long highway, you regret something done in the past. A small one: "I should've done this homework last week.","We regret breaking people's promises." A large one:"I should've considerated of our own parents before they died.", "I should've accepted her propose about our marriage."
Then, we wish we could make the choice again. The redoing is all the better because it is impossible. The famous movie series, "Back To the Future" series represent such human dreams. Furthermore, Doraemon's TIME MACHINE is partly used for changing characters' history.
The other day, I found the function eqiped with my smart phone. That is 【undoing】. Undoing is the one which cancels the action on our writing passages. For example, when you paste some words from another web page on your article in a kind of SNS and you mistakenly delete long passages, this function will do. By shaking the phone, an option occurs to the screen which can fix the mistake, restore the passages.
This means to me that fixing by undoing is prevailed in our daily life. This is apparently going as science technology is developing. This trend sounds somewhat dangerous for civilized people. This is because the experience once we had lost its concreteness. As far as I know, in Japanese literature, experience has two important sides of meaning. Unfortunately, now my ability to express something hasn't reached that level. So small jumping takes place at this point. Please recall the concreteness of experience, which has been importantly issued in the world.
Recently, exceeding claming is one of the biggest issue in a Japanese society. Monster parents problems are closely connected to it. That is, the monsters want to change the situation by claming their selfish statements. They want to undo the decision made by everyone like manipulating their mobile phone.
The fact that the reality is unchangable was quite natural. However, we now dream the world otherwise, and change the present one.
How can it be alright?
Where is the capacity gone?
